Portland native and lifelong woodworker Dylan Blaize started the company with a single van and one guiding principle. After years in the trades, he knew people needed more than a contractor — they needed someone they could trust. By his mid-20s, Dylan had built a reputation on three simple things: showing up, following through, and getting the job done right.​​
As the business grew, so did the need for a true partner. His fiancée London made a pivotal decision — leaving a thriving career in event management to join him in building the company together. She brought structure, organization, and a sense of calm to homeowners feeling overwhelmed. Her systems and communication turned one man’s vision into the strong, balanced team they are today.

United by a single mission, their partnership blends Dylan’s craftsmanship with London’s organization and care.
Together, Dylan and London are the heart of First Call Restoration — a hands-on team grounded in trust, craftsmanship, and genuine care for the people they serve.
A Night That Says Everything About Who We Are
One winter evening, around 8 pm, a woman in Portland came home from dinner to find water flooding from her laundry room. A frozen pipe had burst behind the wall. She didn’t know where to start and was completely overwhelmed.

Dylan didn’t hesitate. Within the hour, he was at her door, shutting off the main line, moving laundry machines, cutting open drywall, and preparing for an emergency plumber to reach the break. While waiting, he pumped out nearly two inches of standing water and stayed past midnight to make sure the area was dry and safe before setting up dehumidifiers.

Meanwhile, our project manager coordinated with the plumber, documented every step for insurance, and kept the homeowner updated as the night unfolded.
By morning, the water was contained and on it’s way to complete dry out.
